Great news! The Saturday Scorcher is back and for those who don’t know, simply drop by on a Saturday morning on your favourite motorcycle and hang out. If it’s unique, small, large, preserved in amber etc, you’ll walk away with a couple of professionally taken photos and we’ll feature your ride on our website.
So on to this weekends treat. The last time we saw the MV Agusta Tourismo Velocé was at the 2013 EICMA show so imagine the surprise when Mike appeared out of the blue (or is it red) on this beauty. It’s a de-tuned F3 with a comprehensive electronics package in even the base model. It handles like a superbike and is lighter than any of the other ‘multi’ style motorcycles although this one is quite strictly for the road.
The most interesting feature though, and the one which had opinions fairly split, has to be the stunning floating rear sub-frame and tiered passenger seat. Of course as the market has confirmed over and over again, motorcyclists are for the most part a conservative bunch where design is concerned so questions surrounding it’s purpose where bandied about, but don’t be afraid, the Italians will show us the way.
Remember to join us this Thursday evening for a little social/meet & greet situation..snacks provided!
