Sweet, sweet murder. Briefs don’t come much simpler but there’s method here too. This Moto-Guzzi V7 Black lives near the sea where even a strong breeze accelerates rust so covering every conceivable piece of chrome is sensible, almost.. practical.

..’cept it’s not. Thirty-two separate pieces for re-paint, including the headlight rim and the tricky to reassemble (without scratching the paint) fork tubes, in a variety of black finishes just to start.

Next on the board, a bum-lift. Now the standard V7 is by no measure unattractive and like a lot of rides these days is available with your choice of OEM custom parts and finishes, but always with that rear fender, which we promptly discarded to amazed gasps of ooh and aah. Yes it certainly cleaned up the back nine but the big flourish is provided by a single LED strip witch integrates the running, stop, and turn signals.

Round the front the standard indicators and mirrors have been replaced with small LED’s and bar-end mirrors from our catalogue which lowers the profile for a much sleeker appearance.

Why not pop in tomorrow for a cup? She might grace us with her presence and who knows… could she pull our Saturday Scorcher prize the day after delivery?
